Detailed Description

The element's geometry and material properties, as computed by the owning class.

These are parameters, not variables: they are fixed at construction and the Jacobian is not taken with respect to them, so they stay double whatever the scalar type of the state is. Keeping them in one struct is what lets the force function below be a free function rather than a member, and therefore templatable without templating the class.
